How fast can I start accepting payments?
Most operators are live the same day. Verify your business in the onboarding flow, sign electronically, and you're processing transactions within minutes. Larger groups with multiple legal entities can take a day or two for compliance review.
Which payment methods are supported?
Every major card scheme (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, Bancontact, Klarna, plus local methods across the EU. New methods are added without you having to do anything.
How do daily payouts work?
Funds settle the next business morning by default. You can switch to weekly or monthly per location if it suits your cash flow. Refunds and chargebacks are netted from the payout automatically.
What is Revenue Protect Services (RPS)?
RPS bundles 3D-Secure strong customer authentication, chargeback defence, and real-time risk monitoring into the transaction. You pay €0.10 per credit card transaction, and in return the platform shields you from most fraud and disputes.
How does split payments work?
Guests order from multiple vendors inside one shop. Butlaroo Pay processes the full basket as one transaction, then routes each vendor's share to their account instantly. You don't see the other vendor's books, and they don't see yours.
Can I keep my POS?
Yes. Butlaroo Pay is live with Oracle Micros, Lightspeed, Untill, Trivec, Vectron, and 20+ EU POS systems. Tickets, refunds and reconciliation flow into the POS your team already knows.
How are refunds handled?
Full or partial refunds from the order view in two clicks. The guest sees the credit on their card or wallet within a few days. Reasons are logged for audit, and refunds are netted from your next payout.
Is there a monthly fee?
There's no monthly fee on the payment platform itself. You pay a small fee per transaction (including the €0.10 Revenue Protect Services charge on credit card payments). Volume pricing is available for larger groups.
Is it PCI compliant?
Yes. Butlaroo Pay is PCI DSS Level 1. Card data is tokenised at the point of capture so your systems never store it. The platform also runs strong customer authentication (PSD2) where required.
